Your Background and Experience

As you’re in the interviewing process, one topic on which you better be knowledgeable is the
job itself, the one for which you’re applying. You should know it inside and out, so you can
not only have an intelligent conversation about it, but also to show you’ve done your home-
work. With that knowledge, you can be prepared to share your strengths and the experi-
ences you’ve had that support the responsibilities and expectations of the particular job. You
can also discuss your educational background as it relates to the job.

Study each aspect of the requirements and responsibilities. You should be prepared to give
examples of your experience that fits as much of their criteria as possible, and be prepared
to provide details, such as percentage of improvement, successes and accomplishments
where appropriate.
